Hello. My name is Bernhard Rieder and I am an associate professor in New Media and Digital Culture at the University of Amsterdam and a researcher with the Digital Methods Initiative. This blog is a public notepad for some of my ideas on actual and potential connections between technology, culture, and politics. I also document some of the software and data analysis stuff I do on here.
I have an official university page and you can also check out my research papers and talks, as well as the research software I develop in my spare time. Please note that I do not provide “how-to” support for these tools. For bug reports or professional inquiries concerning software, please contact email@example.com.
I am not a heavy social media user, but I do tweet at @RiederB. I also publish videos on data analysis on YouTube and I have a github profile.
